Assisted Living

Assisted living communities are residential communities designed for seniors who require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) but their care levels are not too high, which allows them the ability to enjoy some of the amenities offered by assisted living.  Number of residents, range from 50 to 300 or more. their staff to resident ratio is larger than at smaller boarding care communities

They offer amenities such as:

  • Private or shared studios or one or more bedroom Apts, 

  • Dining: Meals are provided in a communal dining room, with options for special dietary needs.

  • Housekeeping and maintenance: Staff provide cleaning, laundry, and maintenance services.

  • Transportation: Communities may offer transportation services for appointments, errands, or outings.

  • Social and recreational activities: Activities such as exercise classes, games, and outings are provided to encourage socialization and engagement.

  • Assistance with ADLs: Staff is available to assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management..T medication management.
